Amherst College Jazz Ensemble

As a guest soloist with the Amherst College Jazz Ensemble, Darryl was featured on several several Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn classics (“Isfahan,” “Caravan,” and “Prelude to a Kiss”). He also performed J. J. Johnson’s “Say When” and a collaborative arrangement with ACJE director Bruce Diehl of Charles Mingus’s “Nostalgia in Time Square.”
